Harris Secret Service Agent Dismissed Over Agent's Personal Altercation At Maryland Joint Base Andrews

NATION: This week, the White House reports on a matter that transpired between one of Vice President Kamala Harris' Secret Service agents and a group of the former Dallas police officer's colleagues. The report from the Harris offices provide information in regard to an actual matter of discord that erupted earlier this week between the SS agent and other Secret Service members. The officer, Michelle Herczeg, has been reassigned, removing her from her duties as a security personnel for Harris. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter Today, the report surrounding the events which led to Michelle Herczeg's dismissal as a Secret Service agent for Vice President Harris purportedly involved the agent in a brawl--Herczeg allegedly assaulted a superior officer while she awaited the time that the Vice President would leave her engagement at Joint Base Andrews , Maryland. On the morning of April 22, Agent Herczeg was situated at the JBA. The report indicates that Herczeg blatantly removed apps from a fellow agent's private cell phone. The report indicates that Herczeg became irate as it reports that the 36 year old Secret Service agent began throwing women's personal hygiene aids at other agents while she hid behind a curtain. Herczeg was accused of mumbling utterances to herself while declaring that her coworkers were "going to burn in hell." Immediately thereafter, Herczeg was informed that she would no longer be needed for the assignment.,. At that point , it was indicated that the agent began to push and shove the higher-up agent, whom she tackled and punched. In previous years, Michelle Herczeg filed a lawsuit in the Dallas, Texas county court alleging violations involving an assault by a superior officer. According to the 2016 lawsuit, Herczeg was assaulted in 2015 after having filed a claim of sexual assault. Events that followed, thereafter, involve the claims made by Herczeg that included intimidation by a male superior officer. Herczeg stated in her lawsuit, "Intimidation tactics were used as investigative tools to persuade Herczeg from seeking criminal relief against the officer who assaulted her." In Dallas, assessment taken involving Herczeg and the claims that were made in regard to sexual harassment, what transpired, thereafter, was an apparent matter associated with the officer's subsequent evaluation. Herczeg was relieved of her duties as a member of the Dallas PD Special Crimes Reduction Team. Information gathered from the 2016 lawsuit indicated that Michelle Herczeg was further punished by DPD which denied her overtime patrol shifts--a matter that, Herczeg states, caused her mental anguish and stress. In 2021, Herczeg's case was dismissed by a Texas court and the officer's legal team was denied an appeal. In regard to the incident, Vice President Harris incurred no direct impact that might be associated with the incident. It was, however, certain that the Vice President made no immediate comment nor dispute over Michelle Herczeg's dismissal.
