POLITICS: On Wednesday, National SEcurity council Coordinator, John Kirby reported on the recent travels by US President Joe Biden who left Washington DC earlier today to meet with APEC leaders -- China's , Xi Jinping being one among the most suignificant joining the meeting. Biden is scheduled to meet with Jionpoing during the week long APEC summit, such that begins today and continues over the next days leading up to the Thanksgiving Holiday. After a month of discussions and decision made surrounding the war in Israel and matters of concern to the US, President Joe Biden , now, takes into consideration the manner by which his meetings on the Asia-Pacific Economic conference will settle on the group gathered in san Francisco to discuss the region's next moves. Expected to canvas such issues involving the plan to increase investments in the region and foreign investments inthe US, Biden will, also, introduce matters involving the US plan for setting forth principles and standards for workers rights in the Asia-Pacific. Biden's efforts involving worker's rights are meant to ensure an increase in competitiveness and transparency in the Asia-Pacific. Concentrating on matters of importance surrounding the proceeding discussions, President Biden will pitch the US plans for securing a more inclusive global economy, a more inclusive economy in the Asia-pacific region. Biden is looking forward to a plan that will provide for more people to compete, cooperate and benefit by the work being conducted in the region of the Asia-pacific. As discussions proceed, the US anticipates that China's leaders will focus on the importance of a bilateral dialogue thaqt, significantly addresses the matter of nuclear expansion. While the talks between Biden and Xi are inclined to arrive at complications surrounding military and regional econoic issues, Xi is likely to avoid US adversive discussion talks on the suffrage of the Chinese economy and make enroads at demonstrating an opposite image of Chin'a's curent economic perception by others. In the last months of the year, the US and china have been at a diostance, Xi avoiding the UN's New York General Assembly and any travels to the United States--that following a number of threats made to US officials who ahve traveled to the INdo-Pacific region, Taiwan and singapoore over the last months of the year 2023. In the last months of the year, there had, also, risen a bit of controversy following China's apparent unmanned balloon flights , such that entered, unwittingly, into US airspace. the PRC ballons, however, gunned down, had been percieved as spy blloon operated by the Chinese government. Shortly prior to the ongoing APEC conference, both the US and china decided on committing to efforts at renewing relations to the greater benefit of both global leadership countries.
