Turkey President Erdogan Postpones Trade Between Turkey & Israel Pending A Ceasefire Deal Agreement by Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu

US & GLOBAL: Today, Turkey Foreign Minister, Erdogan has been hit with renouncement by Jerusalem following Turkey's plan for ceasing trade between the nation of Turkish and Israel while awaiting the effects of the recently planned ceasefire.  By Anne M. Erbynstein "[E]xport and import transactions in relation to Israel have been stopped, covering all products."--Turkish Trade Minister On Friday, the news of an end to trade between Israel and Turkey has spread with significant impact across the global expanse.  Today, in Haifa and Ashdod, imports from Turkey have been discontinued as exports to Israel have, also, halted.   "Turkey will strictly and decisively implement these new measures until the Israeli Government allows an uninterrupted and sufficient flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza." --Turkey Trade Minister The decision, made by Turkish President,  Erdogan, was a matter of an urgent request by Turkey --argued by other nations, as well --for Israel to reach a ceasefire deal brokered by the US and discussed with Israeli officials by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.  Reaction to the planned operations established by Israel in Gaza and Rafah have set off a global firestorm with government leaders standing in opposition to a return operation in Rafah. Israel has reached across controversial lines to state the stance taken by Prime Minister, Netanyahu.  The state of warfare, according to Netanyahu, may be greatly diminished should Israel's Defense Forces invade Rafah and locate members of Hamas among its leaders who are known to remain situated at Egypt's border, just north of Gaza.   Today, as Israel's plans for invasion in Rafah persist, Turkey and Palestine have taken steps to coordinate efforts at ensuring that, while trade is postponed between Israel and Turkey, there will be support extended to Palestinians and others within the affected regions.   Erdogan stated the measures taken to halt trade is a 2nd Phase effort to allow the "...uninterrupted and sufficient flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza."

Trade between Israel and Turkey routinely reaches $6.8 billion last year. The possibility exist that the two country's trade value may have reach a large percentage more had the ceasefire deal been a matter resolved by Israel. Israeli foreign Minister, Israel Katz has accused Erdogan of being a dictator after the Turkish President determined the need to suspend all trade between Israel and Turkey pending the ceasefire deal agreement.
