TikTok Sues US Critics-US States Chinese Video Platform Features Mechanisms Threatening To National Security

NATION: Reacting to a new federal law that would force the China based TikTok owner, BiteDance, to sell their company or face being banned from operating in the United States, the TikTok company made the next move to sue the US citing violations of the 'user's' first amendment rights. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter "For the first time in history, Congress has enacted a law that subjects a single, named speech platform to a permanent, nationwide ban..."-- Today, the United States is faced with a rather challenging case involving the TikTok company; the social media provider of video taping app which is capable of short-form range in duration from three seconds to 10 minutes. TikTok is accessed with a smart phone app. Arguments erupt involving TikTok owner's claim in regard to violations of US users' 1st amendment rights. The contention that has been formed against the social media video taping provider is the federal government's concerns that have developed involving national security. According to the videotaping capability, the matter of national security concern surrounds evidence that TikTok video platform bares a distinctive mechanism that establishes the TikTok operation. The US has requested either knowledge of the special mechanism or the sale of the feature to the US. Some questions were raised surrounding the divestment of the TikTok company which may be possible if BiteDance owes creditors in the United States that have not been paid over an extended time period. TikTok however, disclaims any possibility that their company may be divested while the owner states that a an extension clause gives them time to cover any debt that may be owned to creditors. Today, Congress has taken steps to ban TikTok and moves forward with prohibiting its use by American citizens. In the course of taking steps to rectify the matter involving TikTok, a 67-page disclosure issued by Congress has indicated that, while the US public is barred from the use of TikTok, the effects will result in the company's shutdown in the US. Congress has indicated that the owners of TikTok have, at least through 2024 to January 2025 to comply with the demands made to BiteDance. Ultimately, under such circumstances that BiteDance fails to agree to the sale of their quite unique and highly reciprocal, end-to-end principle internet which is inclusive of the series that involves Bandwidth throttling, Data cap, Deep packet inspection, Internet Protocol (IP)Net bias, Net neutrality law, neutrality Tiered Internet and, possibly, other features that allows viewers as far as Beijing China to peer into the private and personal effects of government events and the lives of members ofthe US public, the bans placed against TikTok will remain in effect in the US.
