Without A Reasonable Agreement Fjord Last Week in Cairo, Today Israel Moves Foward w/ Planned Operations in Rafah

Updated: May 9

US & GLOBAL: In the Gaza border city of Rafah, the region's largest hospital, the Abu Youssef al-Najjir, has been shut down. An attack that was the matter of a caveat announced by Israel has left an uncalculated number of residents and refugees dead. 100,000 Palestinian refugees ordered to move into northern Rafah are, now, without help and medical treatment after medical professionals have fled the area upon Israel's warnings. By Anne M. Erbynstein The region of Rafah is nearest to that which is labeled the "red zone," the place where corpses are laying out in the open. As Israel continues to bombard Rafah with firepower, no one, not even the emergency rescue technicians are willing to risk it all to save not even one life or otherwise retrieve the dead. Today, despite efforts made last week at arriving at an agreement--Palestine requesting ceasefire without surrendering Hamas rebels to imprisonment or to Israel--a 'no deal' was that which wrapped up meeting in Cairo. Following the meeting, Netanyahu believed his only choice was that of moving forward with the planned operations in Rafah. Hospitals in Rafah were left without medical care givers--the majority of whom took heed to the warnings and fled the region as most moved further toward northern Rafah. Many of the Palestinians include children who have been without food for months and are suffering from malnutrition. The city of Rafah has been overwhelmed by Israel's invasion as the quest continues to locate and eliminate members of Hamas believed maintaining refuge in the coastal region just south of Egypt, north of Gaza. Today, as munitions land on the Istanbul Airport, the area remaining occupied by hundreds of thousands of refugees, was inundated by shell fire. While Israel provided information to the US and other UN states that the operations in Rafah would be limited, those who are there have a different story to tell--if they live. Today, as the closure of the only medical facility took its toll, there were some who were left to decide on their own what may be best for them, their families. With medical teams having evacuated, there would be no treatment for those who had been struck by Israel's firing upon them. It is certain that Israel is engaging in a bold and thorough search for members of Hamas believed to be hold up in Rafah. In Gaza and the border city of Rafah, the essence of a warzone is the only experience had by Palestine refugees among those who have remained in Gaza and those who sought refuge in Rafah. Today, as the Israeli operations are being moved ahead, Palestinians in Rafah have been warned and while millions may not have significant escape route, their orders to leave the area have unfolded in a demonstrated attack as Israel takes steps to annihilate members of Hamas savew for any assistance by Palestine leaders to cause Hamas surrender for the sole purpose of saving the lives of civilians in Rafah and Gaza.
