US President Biden & US Vice President Harris Celebrate Las Vegas Aces WNBA Championship’s 2nd Consecutive Yr

NATION: Just 7 months ago their great victory was realized. Today, the Las Vegas Aces were welcomed to the White House to celebrate their year of WNBA championship with US President Joe Biden and US Vice President Kamala Harris. It was last October when the Aces defeated the 2nd best all star team, the New York Liberty. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter "It matters to the girls, finally seeing themselves represented."--US President Joe Biden Today, arriving in Washington on Thursday to receive their champion crown, the team labeled the toughest group of women in US basketball, the LV Aces were among the first US women's professional basketball teams to win a 2nd consecutive championship. "Put me in Coach! I'm ready to play!" -- Biden yelled as he received his customary team jersey

President Biden and Vice President Harris were elated, uplifted by the teams arrival and, more than that, the gifts bestowed upon both Biden and Harris of the team jersey. Biden commented that what these young women athletes are doing "...matters to all Americans. Biden commented that the whole of the nation--the US--should line up behind Vice President Kamala Harris and he and the full administration to demonstrate "...support for women's sports." Vice President Harris laureated the team, citing their championship on and off the court. Harris complimented the young athletic women for their image as role models in the US and around the world stating that the LV WNBA team brings "...such joy..." as they go further in their chosen craft.
