Israel Defense Forces Extend Netanyahu's Exit Warning To Palestine Refugees In Rafah--300K Exiting Egyptian Border

US & GLOBAL: As promised, Israel launches a major strike against Hamas members hold up in the southern region of Egypt at Rafah. The city borders Gaza's northern tip where more than one million Gazan sought refuge during the early months of war violence. so far only 300,000 Gazans have evacuated, moving further north in Rafah. By Anne M. Erbynstein At the command issued by Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, last week, Gaza refugees who traveled to Egypt in October and November, 2023, are now being forced to engage in a 2nd exodus-- Israel says, the urgent move will allow for refugees to escape harm while the IDF enters into Rafah with military ground operations. Hamas, apparently making an escape from Rafah to reenter Gaza, was discovered by the IDF. Today, Israel's IDF has extended a plan, approved by the Israeli security cabinet on Thursday, for ground operations to, now, include northern Gaza in the strikes that are expected to uncover hiding places held by the Hamas militia. On Saturday, the cities of Rafah and Shaboara, Geneina and Khirbat-al-Adas in eastern Egypt were, also, evacuated as IDF troops permeated the south and moved further into the inner cities of the nation situated just south of Gaza.

Israel has made extensive efforts at ensuring that Palestinians refugees in Rafah have received the warnings. Sending text messages, making phone calls and passing out flyers have been the efforts made by IDF members who, following the instructions of Netanyahu, have taken steps to secure the safety and protection of Palestinian civilians in Rafah. The impression had by members of the IDF administration suggested that Palestinians might attempt a move toward the Israel border--they were issued a caveat to refrain from making such a move and to, instead, evacuate to humanitarian zones situated in Khan Younis and al-Mawasi. As the region of eastern Rafah is cleared of refugees, IDF forces have moved further in locating tunnels and where gunfire has erupted and several ofthe opposition forces gunman killed. The Hamas appears to be well equipped with munitions and manpower. Following the ground battle attacks in the Rafah underground, portions of Hamas forces have escaped Israel's attacks and, baring the evidence of reestablishing camps n the Gaza city of Jabaliya. Fighting has, also, appeared to follow the path of destruction that appears to expand the zone to include territories reaching further into Egypt and Gaza--a matter that the US had made efforts to prevent as fighting may erupt into a major warfare adding latitude in the ongoing conflict.
