Biden Makes Vehement Statement To Hamas In Regard To Israel-Hamas Conflict Stating A Ceasefire Is Possible By Tomorrow

POLITICS: Today, as Israel moves further into Rafah and portions of northern Gaza following the plan for eliminating members of the Hamas militia, there is no question that Hamas has accepted the plan for a ceasefire, however, avoiding coming to full agreement with Israel's plan for the surrender of Hamas forces. In Washington, US President Joe commented issued a statement to Hamas leaders firmly stating the plan by Israel to engage a ceasefire will be carried forth, provided Hamas releases hostages. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter "There would be a ceasefire tomorrow if Hamas would release the hostages."--US President Joe Biden Today, as Israel penetrates eastern Rafah, the US has criticized the IDF's reentry into Gaza. In a decision that teetered on the planned move by Israel to conduct military operations in Gaza, President Joe Biden stated that, given the fact that Israel has reestablished its military operations in Gaza, the US is considering withholding munitions and equipment supplies to the war torn nation.


Earlier in the week, President Biden signed a p[roclamation that would provide Ukraine military aid finding of $400 million dollars. while the find will be put to use for training and defense education. The description of the weapons Biden has designated for suspending are a clear indication that there has been no shift in the President's policy. Biden stated earlier in the month that any deployment of 2000 pound bombs would be suspended following the news of Netanyahu's planned strikes in Rafah. In addition to his decision, made last month, to postpone portions of the weapons package planned for being delivered to Israel, Biden commented, today, that while Hamas declares its position and states its hope for ending the war, President Biden stated that the hostage release will result in an immediate ceasefire. Biden commented, today, that, in the event that Hamas releases the 240 hostages held in Gaza, a ceasefire could transpire as soon as Sunday--which, incidentally, is the US day of the annual celebration of Mother's day Reflecting on a recent conversation held between he and Israel Prime Minister, Netanyahu, Biden reiterated the Israeli leader's comment stating, "...it is up to Hamas..." whether a ceasefire will begin tomorrow.
