Fmr Trump Attorney Cohen 's Testimony Clearly Details Hush Money Cover-up



STATE & NATIONAL: In Manhattan district court, former Donald Trump attorney, Michael Cohen responds to questioning by Trump attorney, Todd Blanche. As Blanche made every effort at debasing Cohen's testimony, the former Trump-so-called fixer plowed through the line of defense by responding with answers that clearly positioned Trump to the tax and business files cover-up. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter Included in Michael Cohen's testimony were comments that were aimed at providing detailed information in regard to events that spelled out the efforts made by Trump to appoint Choen as the virtual holder-in-due course and bursar of $130,000 paid to Stormy Daniels, adult film star and producer. Cohen detailed event leading up to the 2016 election stating, on the witness stand, that Trump implicated him in the hush money scheme only days prior to the election. Cohen stated, also, that Trump promised to reimburse the sum of 130,000 dollars after Cohen paid Daniels. Cohen stated that both he was instructed by Trump to carry out the hush money scheme and the business cover-ups. Cohen's testimony made it clear that Trump took steps to falsify business files to reimburse Cohen and, by that, committed that which prosecutors are considering as being a felony criminal violation. THe case currently brought against former US President Donald Trump is that which stemmed from evidence of a criminal act involving the cover-up of hush money payments to Stormey Daniels. Prosecutors investigation the 4 to 8 year old matter cite Trump in regard to the business documents cover-up which was tied to the reimbursement payments made to former Trump attorney Michael Cohen. Today, while it had been clear that Cohen 's testimony would not fail to surface activities involving the hush money payment, prosecutors have indicated that added offenses have been uncovered that., now, reflect evidence of a higher level criminal offense involving the violations of tax payments in association with business document finagling. The case involving former President Doanld Trump may take on added momentum as the prosecution now focuses on the possibility of trying Trump on charges involving felony criminal violations.
