Slovakian PM Fico Shooter Apprehended & Charged With Attempted Assassination of A Government Official


US & GLOBAL: Today, Slovakian authorities have arrested and charged Prime Minister Robert Fico’s shooter. () the 71 year old shoot was apprehended shortly after the shooting and charged with the attempted assassination of the Slovakian government official. By Anne M. Erbynstein Following the attempted assassination of Sl;ovakian Prime Minister, robert Fico, police have disclosed the details that trans[pired p[rior to and during the shooting. According to police reports, Prime Minister Fico was leaving a meeting with government officials when he stopped momentarily to meet and shake hands with the immediate public. a crown gathered surrounding the Prime Minister, also, preventing the clearest of visibility. One man steeping forward , moving toward Fico appeared to extend his hand for shaking . When shots rang out, Fico fell to the ground after the man apparently fired upon the Prime Minister. Police reported that Fico had been shot 5 times, and fell over on the grass just a short pace away from where he had been shot. His full identity remaining undisclosed. police vaguely identify the shooter as an anti-government protester whose occupation is that of a poet. Authorities stated that the shooter acted alone, apparently, at this time, remaining unconnected to any particular hate or terrorist group. According to one political associate of Fico, Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok indicated that the assailant acted out of anger with the outcome of the recent Slovakian presidential election. Prime Minister Fico remains hospitalized in improving condition. The report indicates that Fico was able to speak to a close political associated earlier on Thursday. The unidentified shooter faces the possibility of being sentenced to life in prison.
