US & GLOBAL: This week, there can be no secret that China and Russia have tightened their hold on each of their government's and cooperative relations. While the notion that China and Russia might have severed ties—in view of recent meetings between US President Biden and Chinese President Xi, such a revitalizing of the China -Russia relations appear to be establishedas a reaction to Biden's stiffer tariffs on Chinese imports. Following the meeting with Biden, Xi has apparently moved forward making investments in Mexico with China’s development of an EV manufacturing plant.

The Biden administration has recently announced new tariffs on Chinese goods, including a significant increase on electric vehicles (EVs), which has been described by Russian President Vladimir Putin as 'unfair competition.”
