Manhattan Court Returns Shocking Testimony By Frm Trump Attorney Cohen Whom Its Said Damaged DA Bragg's Criminal Hush Money Case

NATION: It was during the most recent day of testimony by former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, the appearance that the need for conclusion in the Donald Trump hush money criminal trial had been established. Judge Juan Merchan suggested that the attorneys prepare to move forward with closing trial arguments. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter During the week of testimony, Judge Merchan was, also, noted as having suggested to defense attorneys that it may be possible to question Donald Trump in regard to his "bad acts," such that have been at the crux of the civil trials faced by the former President. Today, as the appearance of a final day of testimony draws near, the hush money trial jury is inclined to begin preparations for a final deliberations. As the trial nears its end, the former President has indicated that he would prefer to speak for himself, a plan his defense attorneys say is a bad decision. While is not likely to testify in his own defense, the testimony by former Trump attorney, Michael Cohen is saif to have provided the defense a possible escape route. However, during the trial Cohen mentioned that Trump gave him the authority to "signoff" on payments made to adult film star, Stormy Daniels in the amount of $130,000 dollars in hush money that, over a period of 1 year, would reach a cumulative amount of $420,000 dollars. Perhaps inside the minds of those who, even during two Trump impeachment trials, denials were () while scores of Trump followers incited the riots that transpired at the US Capitol on January 6th as they, also, sat upon congressional GOP panels and insisted that Trump 'didn't do anything wrong.' The idea that Cohen might have entered a testimony that would clear Trump of all 'wrongdoing' would, also, be defied by the same group. According to the defense in the Trump criminal hush money trial, Cohen made no exoneration of his former client's actions nor his character as he described the former President in the following manner: "...dictator douchebag," "boorish cartoon misogynist," "Cheeto-dusted cartoon villain." Given this as Cohen's caricature-istic description of the former President, Donald Trump, it is unlikely that Cohen's testimony will be the substance of such that would clear his former client, but, may, rather issue a notice to the defense team and to the former President of his possible liability. Cohen has, also, testified that Trump, significantly, ruined his life. The New York attorney was charged in the 2018 case, found guilty and sentence to 3 years in prison. More recently, Cohen indicated that, during a meeting attended by he and Allen Weisellberg, Trump approved of the attorney making the hush money payments to the adult porn star, Daniels. In reaction to Cohen's statements made during the Trump impeachment hearings held by the US House Judiciary committee, it was stated by attorney Norm Eisen, that Michael Cohen's testimony stood as the most damaging portion of the case, then, based on the outcome of comments made by Cohen last week, his testimony, by Monday of the coming week, may stand as the most detrimental in the Trump hush money trial.
