The Lion of A Storm System Returns Heading South Through DC to MidWest States as It Reaches N. N-Central Texas

STATE & NATIONAL: In the path of a vicious storm system that has slammed against the states of Texas as it traveled through the midwestern states to the northeast, the tornado- baring system has remained as deadly along its route as it was when touching down in Houston Texas killing 4 people.


By Anne M. Erbynstein Like a lion that returns for its prey, the storm system returns along that which appears to be the same path traveled on its way traveling northerly. This week, the National Weather Center has provided information in regard to the ongoing storm stating that the system has not lost momentum and is, likely, to be as powerful as it was leaving the MidWest and southern coastal states.

Today, as predicted on Tuesday, the severe storm system is expected to continue to batter the Midwest, the Plains states and the mid-south. From Wednesday through the Memorial holiday weekend, the storm will continue southward producing high, straight-line winds . heavy rains and large hail. The current storm system will produce dangerous flooding caused by constant rains. The National Weather Service commented, yesterday, in regard to the massive expanse of the storm which is stated to extend across a 1500 mile radius and it travels over land. According to the weather service, the counties including Dallas/Ft Worth, north and central Texas will experience extreme weather conditions while a tornado watch continues. Carrying tornadoes, the storm will travel from the northeast, leaving Oklahoma and will reach Texas by Thursday after passing through Tennessee and northern Mississippi. Tonight, Washington D.C. and much of the northeast US will experience some level of severe weather conditions as the rolling storm system travels down the coastline into the southern region of the nation. Weather conditions will be regarded as dangerous and residents in all points including Texas. southeast Oklahoma, central Arkansas and northwest Louisiana, Dallas-Forth Worth and Little Rock, Arkansas are may elect to remain in a safe place, if possible, inside a designated storm shelter until further notice according to weather warnings and instructions provided residents in each region.
