Congressman Santos Facing Expulsion- Final Vote Conducted Friday


NATION: Facing the heavy scrutiny of a disfavorable group of colleagues, Congressman George Santos states he is willing to step doiwn if the votes returned are against him. Following an apparent examination of Santos former comments and charges that have been filed against the 35 year old. Accdording to information gathered by Congress, Santos leads a trail of charges including check fraud committed in Braxil. Following his election to Cioongress Brazzilian aithorities revised the charges to which Santos plead guilty,

Reports made in regard to Santos indicate that the Republican Congressman facesd 2 federal indictments the details of which state that Santos committed 23 fraud-related offenses. Today on the House floor one congressmember calling for Santos expulasion commented in regard to lies purporting statements in regard to his blood line indicating that his grandmother was a Holocaust survivor. In a sepoarate report, Santos was said to have claimed that his mother suffered from cancer as a result of incurring injury during the 9/11 crisis. Both comments brought against Santos were stated as lies that the congressman did not rebutt. Congress has indicated that the likelyhood of a final vote will be conducted on Friday.
