Biden Administration Releases CPI Report For November: Consumers Relax, Holiday Inflation @ 3.1%



POLITICS: Today, as the US President Joe Biden delivers a message to the American public on the matter of the economy, the White House continues to work with Palestine and Israel to secure the release of hostages held in Hamas tunneled camps located in Gaza.  On Tuesday, President Biden announced the White House invitation made to the families of hostages held in Hamas tunneled camps.

On Tuesday, President Biden  continued to address matters involving the situation in Israel and Palestine while , also, turning the focus toward matters of significance to US residents.  Today, Biden delivered comments in regard to the US Consumer Price Index for the month of November--a month that consumers have indicated that spending accelerated at the high point of the holiday.


"Republicans in Congress don’t have a plan to lower costs for families. Their only plan is more giveaways for the wealthiest Americans and biggest corporations."--US President Joe Biden


Following the Thanksgiving reports on shopping, the US CPI indicates that November prices fell , evidence of the continual decrease in US inflation.  Last month, the rate of inflation was reported at 3.1%--a decrease of 2/3%.  


The White House report on the gradual drop in the inflation rate that has not been affected by the war in Israel while the most recent report--following the October to November report--indicates that inflation has been effectively diminished.


US unemployment  continues to demonstrate improvement.  Today, the rate of unemployment is registered at 4%--the White House indicates the unemployment rate is its lowest in the last 50 years.  According to reports, the effects of the Bidenomics Bipartisan Infrastructure Act are taking shape in the US economy demonstrating growth in workers' wages which has served to increase household wealth.


Today's wages, the White House indicates, are higher than pre-pandemic rates which have been adjusted for inflation.  November consumers were able to shop with greater ease.  During the holidays, prices on essential items decreased and now includes lower prices on toys, cars, fuel at the pump, TVs, milk and eggs, to name a few--each of which bare diminished prices, adding greater value to consumer shopping capability.  


Biden stated the Bidenomics plan is meant to engage in the "...fight to eliminate hidden junk fees that add up for hard working Americans.'"  


The President commented in regard to the efforts made through Bidenomics to assist with rebuilding the supply chain.  Bidenomics have worked to bring down costs. As a result of working together with large corporations, such that are encouraged to pass the savings to consumers, Bidenomics is making improvements in the households of American consumers.


Biden stated that, while the efforts made through Bidenomics become more and more evident to American consumers, Republicans have taken steps to side with "...special interests to try to block us from lowering the cost of insulin and prescription drugs."  President Biden stated that Republicans in Congress are hard at work to make deep cuts in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, fighting for large corporations while electing for establishing a bill that will leve hard working families holding the tab.  


President Biden stated that the Biden -HArris administration will continue to fight to bring down the costs and grow the economy with a strong middle class.
