NATION: Today, the situation surrounding the prosecution of former President Donald Trump has raised issues with the US Supreme Court and the close association between Justice Clarence Thomas and staunch Trump supporters. Today, according to a comment made by Manu Raju, Senator Dick Durban has called Thomas' recusal in regard to the Justice's possible biased stance involving whether Trump should receive immunity from prosecution.

“There's been enough information raised about Mr. Thomas and his spouse that he ought to think twice about recusal in this case” Comments made in regard to Justice Thomas and the possibility of his recusal.
In Washington, today, a majority of the political community, inclusive of a number of Republicans, are questioning whether Thomas' recusal would significantly negate the prosp[ect for Trump being placed, by the prosecution and/or the Supreme Court, above the law. Trump is faced with a criminal case and 13 indictments containing charges that he and his group of influencers committed the act of racketeering in the former President's attempt at reversing the outcome of the 2020 election.

Trump (influencers) to overthrow the 2020 election while considering the trial in which the matter is being pursued "a sham." While the nation and the public hang in the balance, should prosecution pivot, at this point, the effects will certainly be known in the highest office in the nation for decades into the future.
In further perusal if tge Supreme Court and tge matter of the Trump immunity trial, today, Senator Durbin commented in regard to tge invkydion of a recusal statue. Durbin stated that tge Suoreme Court did not include any statement made in reference to recusal in the returned Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal and Transparency Act, perused on Wednesday..
