President Joe Biden Issues Condolences To Family Members Following Confirmation of Haggai's Death


POLITICS: On Friday, US President Joe Biden spoke in regard to the news of the apparent death of Gad Haggai, a former US citizen who was killed in the Gaza city during hostile aggression launched by Hamas forces. The report of Haggai's death was provided to the US by Kibbutz Nir Oz on Friday. Biden commented in regard to the heartfelt sorrow for the Haggai family. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter

In Washington, the President and First Lady reach out to the Gad Haggai family after receiving the news of the death of 73 year old Haggai. According to reports Gad Haggai was employed as a chef in Gaza prior to being captured by Hamas forces.

The report received, today, from the Kibbutz indicated that information surrounding the the wife of Gad, Judy Haggai , had not be provided, however, Biden stated that he is faithful in the return of Mrs. Haggai. Last week, President Biden met with families of the hostages held by Hamas militia forces. Biden indicated that the daughter of Gad and Judy Haggai joined the meeting via virtual meeting. During his announcement that made the death of Gad Haggai official, President Biden stated that he will continue to pray for the Haggai familial members and their friends. President Biden commented in regard to the hostage situation in Gaza stating that the end to the retrieval of all hostages has not transpired. The President stated that the administration will continue to demand the release of hostages.
