Pentagon Secretary General Austin III States His Reason For Being Hospitalized

During his hospital stay, the Secretary General encountered a minimal extent of the surgery doctors found necessary to alleviate the apparent complications. According to the statement made by doctors Gregory Chestnut and John Maddox, the cancer had been the matter of early detection ensuring that treatment would be significant in arresting the condition. While undergoing surgery, Secretary Austin received the necessary anesthetics--the doctors indicate that the anesthesia was essential for ensuring the avoidance of discomfort. Today, based upon his purported returns to duties, Secretary Austin seems to be fairing well following the lightly invasive surgery. As a matter of protocol, the White House has forwarded a statement issued by the White House Chief of Staff, Jeff Zients, requesting Cabinet departments to provide notification in the event of such matters developing involving medical procedures indicating that the information may be necessary under such circumstance that incapacitation or loss transpires.
