Biden - Harris Administration Met w/ RSV Manufacturers Updating on Availability of Immunizations

POLITICS: On Wednesday, President Joe Biden welcomed Senior White House official to gather for discussion involving RSV Immunization . The Biden Harris administrators met with Sanofi and Astea Zeneca manufacturers of tge RSV immunization vaccine.

The gathering, held at the Whute House, was conducted involving the made by msnufacturrrs to update the White House on their most recent developments.


During the White House meeting on RSV Immunization, discussions were held covering the prevalence of current supplies. Discussions, also, included the manufacturers report on the current status of projected demand.


The administration encouraged manufacturers to continue with efforts to meet the current demand and that which has been projected.


Last month, manufacturers informed the Biden Harris administration in regard to the availability of 230,000 doses of the RSV vaccine. Both Astra Zeneca and Sanofi confirmed the administration that , given the availability of hundreds of thousands of doses, providers and states will be able to access the RSV vaccine.


Beginning the week of January 15, parents will be able to meet with physicians to learn more about the vaccine and become informed of how they might obtain the immunization for infants under age 8 months.


In reference to the information provided to parents physicians will available to speak with mothers and fathers of infants to provide information on how to protect their child by way of immunization.


Women who are carrying the unborn may, also, receive information on the vaccine developed for mothers in-utero.


The White House will continue to welcome RSV manufacturers to continue discussions on the current and future status of the vaccine as efforts are being made to ensure that the demand is met and that every family that requires RSV Immunization, receives it.
