Harris Focuses on Rights of Americans To Oppose Gun Violence

NATION: On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke in regard to one the United Ststes' ongoing national ecigimenvies-- gun violence. Harris stated, today , that the need for new laws is immenrnt.

Today, US Vice President Kamala Harris made an appeal in an address before the nation stating plans for the U.S. House to take further steps in approaching an end to gun violence


Today, Harris stated thst the Biden administration has established a plan to pursue new laws adding that the U.S. Congress has the full authority to establish new legislation that addresses the critical areas associated with gun control.


As tge plans for Confresdional redress persists, the White House addresses 2 areas of greatest concern involving gun control. While the Brady Bill remains in effect, the White House has determined the added need to ensure that automatic ssssuktvrifles are outlawed. The 2nd most threatening area of major concern involving gun use across the nation is ' open carry." Harris has reiterated the need for tge US Congress to peruse these issues and establish new , tougher legislation.


Today, Vice President Harris informed that gun violence is the number one killer of innocent people inthe United States.


Vice President Harris emphasized the concerns associated with gun violence stating the current state of gun violence has evolved as the "...number one killer of children in America.. Harris stated that the effects of more in-depth background checks is paramount in the fight against gun violence ss tge weapons that kill a staggering number of Smerican children.
