Ukraine Air Defense Forces Blast Russian Oil Reserve Site

In Russia, an overnight attack launched by Ukraine struck upon the nation's largest oil refinery, leaving Russian officials in a state of certainty that the anticipated long-range missiles attacks have been realized. Before day on Saturday night, Ukraine forces struck the Volgograd Refinery with 2 drones missiles destroying portions of the most relied upon oil refineries in the region. Owners of the Volgograd Refinery, Lukoil, stated that fires erupted in the plant located in the southern region of Volgograd, Russia increasing the number of long-range drone strikes in a serial attack against Russian infrastructure. As technical failures rise in Russia, the nation's energy infrastructure has suffered numerous blows imposed by Ukraine forces. At stake in the position held by Russia in the global oil and gas markets. The Volgograd plant produces nearly 15 metric tons of refined oil per day. According to the report made by Ukraine news media at Kyiv, the Saturday drone attack struck upon Volgograd's main oil production facility.

Ukraine has indicated that the strike launched on Saturday will only serve as one in a number of strikes yet to follow. Last month, another of Lukoil 's refinery's was struck and decommissioned by Ukraine air defense forces. The NORSI refinery is expected to remain inoperable over the next several weeks. Russian officials have reported no casualties caused as a result of Ukraine's 2 drone long range missile attacks at Volgograd Oil Refinery, Russia.
