US President Biden Meets atthe White House w/ Japan Prime Minister Kishido


POLITICS: On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden met with Japan Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida. The two world leaders met to further relations between the US and Japan and to discuss matters in regard to the countering Russia and China. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter "We have raised our shared ambition...and now, the US and Japan alliance is a beacon to the entire world."--US President Joe Biden Today, the White House welcomed Japan Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida only one year following the Japanese leader's most recent visit to the United States. President Biden and Kishida engaged in liberal discussions surrounding matters associated with the current and ongoing war imposed by Russia upon Ukraine and the position the has been taken, in that regard, by China. Both Biden and Kishida discussed their concerns for strengthening their military alliance while focusing on launching missiles and landings on the moon. Discussions engaged by US President Biden and Prime Minister Kishida included talks on the ongoing wars in Israel and Gaza and that which prevails against Ukraine as brought on by Russian invasion in 2022. Today, during their discussions, President Biden and Prime Minister Kishida formed a solid agreement to maintain global partnership into the future. Biden and Kishida have agreed to a number of initiatives that will be implemented in the immediate future. In keeping with the US-Japan agreement, plans have focused on: Strengthening Defense and Security Cooperation Reaching New Frontier in Space Leading on Innovation, Economic Security and Climate Action Partnering in Global Diplomacy and Development Fortifying People-to-People Ties to develop future stewards of the US and Japan The US and Japan leaders discussed ways for opening an pathway to future US - Japanese experts who "understand and support the alliance." Today, two global leaders stated that, through this venue, their alliance has advanced peace, security and prosperity and the rule of law across the Indo-Pacific. Biden and Kishida stated that the day is forever recognized as a celebration of an enduring friendship.
