US Military Training Aircraft Crashes Into Yakushima Island Waters--1 Found Dead 7 Missing


STATE & NATIONAL: In Wednesday, the news of a US airplane that crashed over Japan was transporting 8 people. Today, as the search for survivors comntinues, one person has been reported dead following the aircraft's loss altitude. according to the report, the plane crashed into the waters nearest Yakushima island. By Anne M Erbynstein Today a report from Tokyo, Japan has imparted the news of the ocean crash of the US Ospray aircraft. The report indicates that the crash occurred 45 miles from from Kagoshima near the island of Yakushima. Reports made by the Air Force Special Operations Command conformed the number of passengers on board the US Ospray. According to the report, the lifeless body of one passenger was recovered at least 1.8 miles from the Yakushima Island. Today, as the ocean waters near Yakushiima represent a rather cold perceptually crude unwelcoming, the Coast Guard has indicated that a search continues for the additional 7 passengers. The Japan coast Guard has deplyed aircraft and coast guard emergency crew to the area. A final report made identiofying the aircraft indicate that the CV-22B Ospray was among aircraft based at Yokato Air Base, 353rd Special Operations Wing. The crew onboard the Ospray were performing rpouitine training misssions when the accident occured. Japan Minister of Defense, Hiroyuki Miyazawa, has appointed the Japanese Coast Guard to conduct a search and rescue mission in an effort to determine whether there were 8 crew members on board the CV-22B Ospray during the crash.
