Describing Senate Bill 4 one would have to imagine what it might be like to be passengers on an airplane that crashes falling from 5000 ft. The craft being the passage through the Rio Grande River by illegal migrsnts who walk and wade into the US at the Texas border.

Today, Governor Gregg Abbott signs a bill that will ban sanctiarumy cities being established in Texas. Prior to its rejuvenation by the State of Texas government, the ban on sanctuary cities being built in Texas was first established in 2016. In 2017, the ban on sanctuary cities in Texas was signed by Governor Gregg Abbott.

Senate Bill 4 "Restricts sanctuary cities by mandating that local police must work with federal immigration officials, allows police to inquire about immigration status of detainees.." The Bill also, issues a Class A Misdemeanor to individuals, colleges and universities for any efforts at avoiding cooperating with the government 's ban action.

By March, 2018, following SB4 being contested by Circuit Court(), Judge Orlando Luis Garcia, US Fistrict Court for the Western District of Texas,

and with the exception of a portion of the bill that would charge an official for lack of cooperation with the Bill, most of Governor Abbott's ban Bill statutes were passed , signed by tge Governor and remain effective as law in the state of Texas.
