Biden Administration Receives Final Response In Regard To Call For Military Aid To Ukraine


POLITICS: On Friday, the Biden administration has reached a decision in regard to the provisions of military aid that will be provided to Ukraine. Biden commented, today, that a $60 million dollar package including munitions and equipment will be received by the Ukraine military. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter "The United States will continue to work together with some 50 Allies and partners to ensure Ukraine's brave defenders receive the critical capabilities needed to fight Russian aggression." --US President, Joe Biden Today, the demands made by the Biden administration approved, the US Defense Department may, now, move forward with the military aid requested, months ago, by Ukraine President Zelensky. In the last hours of discussion, the US Defense Department has received the decision handed down from the Biden administration involving the plan for providing critical security and defense needs. According to the US DoD, the most recently approved tranche will be the 58th military package provided to Ukraine by the US Defense Department. This new package in the 5th security aids package the President has signed since the initial supplemental package was signed in April. The new security package contains 3 Presidential Drawdown Packages including efforts that will help Ukraine repel Russian assaults in Kharkiv totaling $275.0 million. Additional efforts will provide essential munitions that will assist Ukraine in combat including precision strike rockets for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and artillery rounds, air-launched munitions, and anti-tank weapons.


Including the following equipment and ammunitions, the US has provided the package necessary to ensure Ukraine security during the continuing moments of the war against Russia: Ammunition for HIMARS;

  • 155mm and 105mm artillery rounds;

  • 60mm mortar rounds;

  • Tube-Launched, Optically-Tracked, Wire-Guided (TOW) missiles;

  • Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems;

  • Precision aerial munitions;

  • Small arms and additional rounds of small arms ammunition and grenades;

  • Demolitions munitions;

  • Anti-armor mines;

  • Tactical vehicles to recover equipment;

  • Helmets, body armor, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear protective equipment; and

  • Spare parts, maintenance, and other ancillary equipment.

  The Biden administration has committed to backing Ukraine in the war against Russia while both US and Ukraine consider the fight as a measure taken to preserve freedom and democracy in the United Staes, Ukraine and the global expanse.
