• Some columnists and commentators have expressed the view that President Biden might elect to step down from the race for re-election. For instance:

• There has been some speculation whether members ofthe Democratic Party who have have been appraised Biden's debate performance have raised questions about the remainder ofthe campaign. However, these opinions may vary widely and do not represent a consensus within the party or among the public

• In fact, senior Democratic leaders and supporters have defended Biden, emphasizing his track record and resilience as a gauge of how Biden can recover from this; the first presidential debate.

It's clear that the debate has sparked a conversation about leadership and the future direction of the presidency, with different individuals and groups offering their own takes on the situation.

On Friday, the morning after the great debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, President Biden met with a large gathering of excited constituents as he stated “ “Folks, I might not walk as easily or talk as smoothly as I used to. I might not debate as well as I used to. But what I do know is how to tell the truth.”

As he spoke to his North Carolina constituents, on Friday, President Biden spoke with great confidence in his standing with his campaign for a second term. Today, as nation hears the words of a stronger, perhaps, hard pressed, but not crushed and rested Joe Biden, and listens to the roar of the crowd, it seems the American people echoe the phrase, “If God be for us, who can stand against US.”
