Biden Inthe White House Oval Office- Joined By Family Members of Returning Prisoners

“ Every patent, child and loved one joining me in the Oval Office has been waiting for this moment for a long time.” — US President, Joe Biden


POLITICS: Today, the White House Oval Office was aglow with the hope and relief felt by everyone joining with US President Joe Biden in welcoming back home to the United States the 4 US citizens who had remained in Russian prison system.

“Hey everybody…” President Biden spoke by phone yo the released prisoners while on their flight returning home to America. “Can you hear me? This is Joe Biden”. The speaker replied with affirmation as Biden informed the returning Americans that their families were with him in the Oval Office awaiting their return.


“We just want to say how glad we are. You’ve been wrongfully detained for a long time and we’re glad you’re home.” Biden spoke with the warmth of joy and gladness at the return of the released prisoners.


Biden commented in reference to a number of the returned prisoners stating that there were 7 who stood up for democracy and were thrown into prison in Russia.


“After enduring unimaginable suffering and uncertainty, the American prisoners detained in Russia are safe, free and have begun their journey bavk into the arms of their families.”—US President, Joe Biden


Biden stated that the release of Russia’s political prisoners was made possible because the stand for democracy was made in the face of adversity. The President commented that the stand for democracy was not only for US citizens, but, also for others. “ That’s who we are!”


The deal made to bring home Russian hrld political prisoners woukd not have been possible without the help of US allies.


President Biden commented in regard to the U.S. allies stating , “This is a prime example of whirlybird important to have friends in this world.”


The return home for a few of the released prisoners was historical, to say the least. Some expressed their difficulty in really believing they were on an aircraft flying back home in freedom. Others were tearful and filled with joy as they exchanged greetings with family members as everyone expressed words of love and happiness from the White House Oval Office.
