POLITICS: A meeting that had been discussed over the last G-20s gathering was conducted on Friday. USPresident Joe Biden met with Chinese diplomat, Wang Yi to discuss matters associated with the relationship between the two countries.

Biden indicated that the need for addressing relations between the United States and China are necessary to diossolve a number of matters that remain at issue involving recent past encounters.
In the recent past, the US has borne what appeared to be attacks by China as on more than one ocassion, PRC unmanned ballons were shot down after having entered into US air space. The United States took swift action to defuse any possible adversity that may have been caused by the PRC incusion, while, interfacing with Chinese leadership to gain access to any possible purpose that may have surrounded the arrival of the unmanned vessels.
Following the expulsion of balloons that flew over Montana and regions of the north Atlantic in February, 2023, China maintained denial adding that the balloons were meant for nothing more than science research. The US, however, extracted debris as evidence of the balloon's content.
The relationship between the US and China has added con straints given the conflict that continues over the Indo-Pacific region. In the last months of effortts, the US has received threat from China and its leaders who have warned of violence should the US enter into the Indo-Pacific or claim Taiwan as its partner in the region.
Today, given the calamity that may be ongoing in the chinese economy, President XI has maintained distance from the United States, however, the burgeoning impression that peace and stability within US -China relations is demonstrated in the agreement by significant Chinese representatives that normal relations between the two countries remains a welcome prospect by XI and other Chinese leaders.
During his meeting on Friday, President Biden stated that the level of significance remains high for the working relationship between the US and China.
During his talks, President Biden remembered the later Chinese Premiere, Li Keqiang, extending his condolences to Prime Minister Yi, People’s Republic of China Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission and Foreign Minister.
