Biden's CFPB Wins Supreme Court Victory For Consumers & Administration

POLITICS: Over the last 3.5 years of the Biden administration, there is no question that the US Supreme Court has not stood as the President's ace consigliere, at least not in the manner that, it seems, the high court 9 have remained in regard to Biden opposition--however and  foremost, in the sense of the close relational comparativity that has existed between the high court and right-wingers. Nonetheless, today, US President Joe Biden has brought about an ace in the most recent Supreme Court ruling that, now, protects the Obama-Biden administration's Great Recession, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter "Every step of the way, while the CFPB and I have fought for the middle class, Republicans in Congress and in states across the country have stood with special interests who want to keep ripping families off."--US President Joe Biden

On Thursday, as President Biden prepares for proceeding with fundraisers, campaign events and, the next, arriving atthe Morehouse College commencement, his campaign has gathered a bit of increased momentum given the decision made by the Supreme Court in support of the CFPB.  While the new SCOTUS ruling has been regarded as a boon to benefit US consumers, there can be no doubt that the added economic dimension will serve as a spangled banner and feather in the Biden cap as he arrives upon the great presidential debate between he and criminal trial-burdened former President Donald Trump.

According to the Biden administration the Supreme Court has sided with a worthy cause. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is a division of the government administration that is designated for taking steps in developing policy and regulations that "...protect consumers from abusive practices by lenders, servicers, and special interests, and has lowered costs for hardworking families by going after junk fees."* Under the Biden administration, the CFPB has provided $9 billion dollars in relief to consumers. Today, as a result of the CFPB relief plan, consumers have saved as much as $20 billion dollars per years with savings being applied to credit card late fees, overdraft fees, and other junk fees. Made clear this week as it had be during the years of its introduction through the Obama -Biden administration, the US Supreme Court decided with iterate distinction to state that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is constitutional and a great benefit to the American public. * Statement from President Joe Biden on the Supreme Court Ruling on Consumer Financial Protection Bureau; Briefing Romm Statements & Releases l May 16, 2024 [ttps://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2024/05/16/statement-from-president-joe-biden-on-the-supreme-court-ruling-on-consumer-financial-protection-bureau/]
