NATION: President Joe Biden recently visited his daughter-in-law, Hallie Biden, at her home. This visit occurred days before the ninth anniversary of the death of Joe Biden’s son, Beau Biden, who was Hallie’s husband.

The visit also took place ahead of Hallie’s expected testimony as a witness in Hunter Biden’s gun crime trial next month1. Hunter Biden, the president’s son, is charged with making false statements on a federal form when purchasing a firearm in 2018.
The trial is scheduled for June, and prosecutors plan to use portions of Hunter’s book and laptop, including photos, to argue their case. Hunter has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Joe Biden’s only daughter, Ashley Biden, recently settled a debt by paying over $5,000 in back taxes in Pennsylvania, stemming from 2015.
Despite President Biden’s calls for wealthy individuals and corporations to pay more taxes, some Biden family members have faced tax issues themselves.
