STATE & NATIONAL: On Sunday during a press conference held by former Georgia Governor hopeful Stacy Abrams, the southern political activist challenged Vice President Kamala Harris stating that misogyny and racism remain a quite prevalent matter in the United States. Vice President Harris has touted a campaign that has pushed forward womens' rights including repoductive rights. The Biden administration is the firts to appoint women in power positions including the US Supreme Court.
There can be no doubt that while President Joe Biden fashioned a plan for appointing wom,en, and black woment--at that-- their appontments were a direct link to the pull that transpired from the seat of the Vice President. Prior to taking office as the US second in command, Harris promoted an agenda that would address matters of concern to women.
Today, as Stacy abrams raises issues surrounding matters of racism and misoginy, her disquietude provides m, yet another landmark ffor ulplifting women to be reached by the Vice President and the Biden administration.
