US & GLOBAL: Today, as tge emergence of an apparent upper respiratory disease has spread from China and U.S. now showing some evidence of having spread to the United States, URDO is a disease that has affected children and the elderly.

As the Center For Disease Control disclosed the current status of URDO, the report from the CDC indicates that U.S. medical facilities have recorded as many as 150 cases of URDO among minor youth.
This weekend, China has indicated that an overwhelming number of minor children have flooded hospitals and have been treated for upper respiratory complications. China has placed the nation and islands situated near China including Taiwan, on high alert .
Following holiday travels, last week, China has indicated that the high alert has been posted in Macau and Hong Kong while the Chinese Center for Disease Control has issued a request that travelers to and from each of the aforementioned locations seek medical evaluations, particularly if there are any presence of symptoms.
Today, in China, the report from only one northern China hospital setting states that 7000 cases of URDO have been treated over the weekend between November 25th and 27th.
As the evidence of URDO continues to impact children of pre -school and school age in addition to elderly adults, the impression, according to experts in Taipei have indicated that the reports are reminiscent of those that were made prior to the full blown affects of COVID-19.
In Taiwan, the CDC continues to monitor the rise in cases of URDO which has developed at a rate of 2.5% compared to the early stages of COVID-19. Tge Taiwan CDC states that the disease referred to as URDO has been sited as a combination of upper redirstory infections as doctors are, now, treating symptoms associated with mycoplasma pneumonia, adenovirus, influenza, respiratory syncytial virus and COVID.
Symptoms tgst may be noticeable in youth and tge elderly are fever, headache, brochitis, fatigue and soar throat.
