Ellis, Attorney For Former President, Plead Guilty In Response to RICO Charges




STATE & NATIONAL: On Tuesday, in the Fulton County DA case brought against former President Donald Trump by the district attorney, Fani Willis, a former attorney for the former President, Jenna Ellis, has plead guilty to the matter involving the aiding and abetting of false, written information in regard to the 2020 election. Ellis plead guilty to the charges involving the RICO indictment filed against the former President and 18 of his accomplices.

In regard to her guilty pleae, Jenna Ellis is, now, a convicted criminal. While the sentencing phase of her trial has not been conducted, the court will provide information in regard to the date Ellis must respond to receiving sentencing. Ellis is the 3rd in a sequence of attorneys who have plead guilty and the 4th among the 19 on the former President's team charged in the RICO indictment who have established a plea deal with the Fulton County DA. In the indictment elivered to the grand jury by the Fulton county DA, Jenna ellis recived charges in connection with herhaving drafter a letter stating the Georgia election results were illegitimate.

Following the filing of the indictment that listed ellis among those having commted the act of RICO felony, the 38 year old attornet, drafted a letter that was, later, forwarded to the office of the DA. The letter contained comments of apology to the state of Georgia. According to the most recent court proceedings , it has been stated that Ellis will testify during each of the 18 additional trials. The Preosecution has indicated that Ellis will receive leniency in regard to the RICO charges that will be dropped as a matter of the young attorney's guiolty plea deal.
