THE WEEKENDER: On this day in 1776, America won independence on July 4th.

Over the last 288 years, Americans have celebrated the final victory that won America’s independence from England.


Despite the final battle, according to US President George Washington the signing ofthe Declaration of Independence in 1776 on July 4th marked the war’s last major conflict between America and England. By the time tge final battle transpired at the Bsttle of Yorktown, September 28,, 1781 - October 19, 1783., America’s independence had, already, been declared!


The Sovereignty and independence of America was formed into law by US President, George Washington on July 4, 1776 🇱🇷🙏🏽
