Fetterman States Approval of Humanitarian Aid To Gaza Civilians

STATE & NATIONAL: On Saturday, Senator John Fetterman provided comments in reference to the ongoing situation in Israel and the Hamas invastion. Fetterman made a statement during a brief press conference indicating that he is fully in favor of the humanitarian aid that will be provided to the Gaza. By Anne M. Erbynstein Last week, Fetterman issued a comment during which time the Pennsylvania Senator stated that this would not be the time to impose a ceasfire. Fetterman, however, commented further stating his grief for everyone who may have been injured or suffered any loss dring the uprising. Later during his commentary, Senator Fetterman indicated that he is aware that , if Hamas had avoided the brazen attack on Isreal, tthousands of innocent lives would not have been lost. According to the comments made by the 2 year Senator, it was following the announcement made by President Joe Biden in regard to the $105 billion dollars in aid that will be provided to Israel, the Gaza and Ukraine that Fetterman may have previously stood at odds. Today, Senator Fetterman has agreed that, despite, the Hamas attacks, the sufferage of the innocent must be fittingly addressed. Today, the pros and cns associated with the Israel war violence have been uttered by members of the Democratic Smajority Senate. Fetterman has not wavered on his stand against a ceasefire while a number of others lawmakers, have stated their concern for the lives of those who face the war's direct risks and call for a ceasefire. On Capitol Hill as many as 16 members of Congress have stated their support for President Joe Biden call for ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Yet while sme have opposed Biden's plan for increasing aid to Israel, the President has stated his decision to push frward support to Israel following the arrial at the Rafah border of 20 trucks that unload humanitarian aid across the reopened border to Gaza refugees. While Senator Fetterman stated with clarity his concern for the lives of the innocent adding that Hamas must pay for their actions that killed "men, women and childre," Fetterman was joined by others within the Senate who looked upon a situation that should concentrate efforts on nuetralizing Hamas foces prior to furthering talks on a ceasefire.
