President Carter served the nation during a time that became quite atmospherically settling following the rather chaotic 70s Viet Nam war roar through 1955 to 1975. Throughout the Carter adminisration First lady Rosalynn Carter demonstrated support for the Presdient as well as for the US public. Mrs Carter was an adviocate for human rights and supported research in mental health issues.
