General McMaster’s book delves into the internal conflicts and hyper-partisanship within the administration, highlighting the challenges of working with a disruptive president.
McMasters describes his stent serving in the Trump administration while giving an account of meeting with the Trump team describing it as a gathering of “sycophancy.”
The former Trump NSA commented in regard to the apparent pandering that took place while those gathered in meetings with Trump would make extremely approving comments— “ you’re always right …” and other similar types of lavishing approval.
McMaster discusses his efforts to drive necessary shifts in U.S. foreign policy during a critical period in history.
In sum, McMaster’s book is a timely disclosure of accounts that seem to question whether the former commander-in-chief would be a better monitor of conflicts compared to the DNC candidate for President Kamala Harris.
According to McMasters, Trump’s focused with a rather intemperate view iftge conditions surrounding war. McMasters comments that Trump would make that which he termed as “outlandish…” suggestions for resolving matters associated with war. For example, Trump might comment, “Why don’t we take out the whole N Korean Army during one of their parades?” or “ Why don’t we just bomb the drugs?”
