Today, Israel and Palestine continue talks on a ceasefire /hostage release deal. Israel has pondered the deal offered by Turkey, the west and other nations that have stood in agreement with a ceasefire / hostage release deal. Netanyahu, however, has not offered any further concessions that would wholly agree with Turkey.

In the plan that would send IDF troops further into Rajahs eastern coastline which borders Gaza, with white knuckles, Israel has awaited the moment to strike acknowledging the purpose for getting troops in and conducting military strategy.

Israel has a plan that will uncover the suspected high volume of Hamas troops currently remaining hold up in Rafah. While the risks remain high, Israel is faced with ensuring the safety of civilians while, also, executing efforts at gaining access to hostages believed to be held in Rafah.

While the plan for getting into Rafah will require Israel to conduct efforts with certain force and aggression, Israel has faced criticism over recent attacks in Gaza , such that resulted in ICC threats of making arrests of Israeli officials. Israel hopes to protect its reputation and is expected to demonstrate concern for civilians.

Today, following the visit to Israel by U.S. Secretary Antony Blinken, in a meeting with Netanyahu, Blinken stated the US position. On May 1, Blinken stated that the US would benefit by the suggested ceasefire adding that the temporary peace would offer steps toward ensuring safe hostage release.
