New York A.G. James Subpoenas Trump Daughter, Ivanka, To Testify In 250k Fraud Case




NATION: On Friday, the report of the recent development inthe trial brought against former US President Donald trump provides the most current status involving the actions taken by New York attiorney General, letitia James. According to the information received today, James has issued a subpoena to the daughter of the former President, Invank Trump, ordering the 42 year old Trump to appear in court in response to the $250,000 dollar fraud case brought against the Trump company. Ivanka Trump has beein eyed by the New York Attorney General as a key person in the case involving the charge associated with a matter of financial fraud. In regard to the trial, Invanka will respond to questioning associated with her father's apparent see-saw-inflated fninancial statements. according to the court's report, Invanka trump may have pertinaent information necessary to uncover the facts surrounding her father's charges involving inflating property value via information provided to banks, insurers, and other institutions to secure loans. In court, recently, Invanka Trump's attorneys argued the point that the state of New York has no valid hirusidiction over theirclient. Ivanka Trump has remained a resident of florida following her resignation submitted to the Trump Org 6 years ago. The New York attormney General has, however, indmicated that while the Trump daughter has distanced herself from the company, it is her former involvement as a top official with the Trump Org. that has the potential to shed light on the events questioned in the case. James is pursuing information that may be known by Invanka Trump and quite possibly that which may not be knhad by any other witness involved in the ongoing case. In New York, the federal court presided over by Judge Arthur Engoron has set the Ivanka Trump hearing for November 1, 2023.
