STATE & NATIONAL: On Saturday, in New York city Mayor Eric Adams remained free after an uinvestigation had been made into allegations of the Mayor's connection to Turkish contributors and a New York construction company owner. This week, the FBI has proceeded with an investigation into allegations associating the Mayor with corruption during his 2021 campaign for Mayor. By Anne M. Erbynstein Last week, a number of documents had been seized by FBI agents. According to a report made following the FBI seach ans seizure Adams' iPhone and iPad were removed from the Mayor's possession. During the FBI probe, information was unvovered involving the Brooklyn Borough President, Antonio Reynoso. The report on Reynoso indicated that there had been some involvment with the Brooklyn Borough President that involved Turkish individuakls in the matter of the construction of a Mnahattan building. Adams indicated that he was not concerned oabout the allegations, indicating that the FBI may have unbcovered information that, however, did not involve the New York Mayor in committing corruption along with a Turkish builder. FBI agents hace pursued a line of data, tbelieved to potentially lead to some evidence that corruption may have taken place during 2021. FBI agents had been searching for information that would uncover any possible facts associated with the Turkish government efforts at funneling $300 million in funds int support the a New York Mayoral contender's 2021 campaign.
So far Mayor Eric Adams has suffered no personal nor mayoral injury as a result of the FBI prove. While Adams remains free, Hizzoner's current status may tend to indicate that the FBI has found no evidence of a $300 million dollar corrupt- Turkish construction deal or , at the outside, nothing has turned up any evidence that would implicate Mayor Adams in any such wrong doing..
