US & GLOBAL: The Pentagon recently announced a new military aid package to Ukraine, valued at approximately $225 million.

Following the announcement, the Pentagon disclosed a list of munitions that are included in the package drawdown. According to the report made by the Secretary of Defense Lloyd AustinIII, the package is quite significant and is expected to secure essential defensive efforts to sustain Ukraine’s resistance to Russia.
The Pentagon package will provide Ukraine with a variety of critical Air defense items.Including missiles, other devices are Munitions for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) Javelins and other anti-armor missiles, Counter-drone and counter-electronic warfare systems 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, Vehicles and other equipment1
The new military aid package is part of the ongoing support from the U.S. to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression.
Announced today, the decision to provide the military aid package was made just ahead of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
