President Biden Rejects ICC Chief Khan's Plan To Issue Arrest Warrants Against Netanyahu & Other Israel Leaders



POLITICS: Today, in Washington and the nation, the concerns are turned to the crash and deaths of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other officials and the recent decision by ICC Chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, whose recent steps taken in regard to the arrests of Israeli national leader, Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas militia leader, Yehiyah Sinwar, has been vehemently criticized by US officials. In particular, US President Joe Biden refers to the warrants decision as "...outrageous." By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter "And let me be clear: whatever this prosecutor might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas."--US President Joe Biden Today, US President Joe Biden has stated his position on the recent decision by International Criminal Council chief prosecutor, Karim Khan and the decision to prosecute both leaders of Israel and of Hamas. According to the arrest warrant decision that remains prospective, Khan looks upon the retaliation by Israel as being a more heinous violation of war compared to the onset of war violence launched by Hamas on October, 7, 2023. Khan's perspective appears to most in the US, as being extremely biased against Israel and the nation of Israel's right to defend itself. President Joe Biden commented in regard to the ICC warrant application stating that the plot to arrest Israeli leaders is outrageous--Biden stating that there is no equivalent. Biden referred to the weight of the sudden attack launched by Hamas on 10/7 as compared to Netanyahu's absolute need to defend his nation and the nation's right to defend its people. President Biden stated that while prosecutors at the ICC imply that there is some comparison in the violence conducted by Hamas; the instigator and Israel; the defender of its nation and people, the President stated further, there is no comparison "...between Israel and Hamas." President Biden reiterated his original stand in regard to Israel, "We will aways stand with Israel against threats to its security adding, "The ICC prosecutor's application for arrest warrants against Israel is outrageous."
