President Biden To Be Nominated For Democratic Presidential Candidate Ahead of DNC

POLITICS: Good news often travels as fast as the bad. In this recent decision made by officials at the Democratic National Headquarters the news that traveled to the US public is good. Today, the Democratic Party has decided that President Joe Biden will be selected as the party nominee to run for President in 2024. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter Planning to hold a virtual roll call, the Democratic National Committee has stated that the nomination of Biden will be entered into a vote before the August national convention. The strategy is clear, by this process, President Biden will avoid any ballot vacancies, particularly any that may be associated with the Ohio ballot. A necessary move on the part of Democrats, the party is acting while considering that the state of Ohio will hold the Democratic Convention on August 7, party officials state that the scheduled convention date is two weeks after the candidate's certifying date. Democratic Party Chair, Jaimie Harrison commented in regard to the complexities associated with the option of adjusting the law to suit the candidate indicating that such a decision could mean suicide to the campaign. Harrison indicated that the Democrats would not be apt to conforming to partisan trickery and will, "...land this plane on our own." Harrison stated that the party will conduct a virtual roll call adding that the decision will provide for the rights of Ohio voters to enter a vote for the candidate of their choice. On June 4th, a bylaws committee will vote to determine whether the party can proceed with a roll call vote. Harrison stated that, after the roll call decision is cleared, a virtual nomination may be conducted following the full party vote on the resolution. State House Minority Leader, Allison Russo commented in reference to the concerns of the Democrats stating that the plans being established in the ongoing process are meant to provide full and fair access to a vote by the public. The events that will be moved forward were, first, voted into law by the Philadelphia Senate. The Senate forum approved of a two-tier solution that would permit the DNC to hold the virtual roll call vote and, thereafter, include President Biden's name on the Ohio ballot prior to the certification deadline date. Despite the impression that Ohio Republicans have attempted to commit to "...playing politics with...democracy..." adding that the impression taken is that the GOP House was making an effort at preventing Ohio voters from engaging in their fair choice. Democrats have indicated that, given the process being approached, there will be no ability by Republicans to fane accountability for presidential ballot access.
