President Provides Disaster Relief To Utah


POLITICS: On Saturday, following a (), that struck tge state of Utah, President Joe Biden declared a state of emergency for the region. Biden responded to tge situation involving servers weatger conditions that lingered in Utah a period of 27 consecutive days.

In the month of May, 2023, the state of Utah endured the devastation of constant flooding for the entire month.


On December 23rd, US President Joe Biden declared a state of emergency in the region signing a document that would provide for emergency assistance to be issued to the state of Utah.


The state will receive funding for repairs and reconstruction of damages caused by the month long rains . The counties of Iron, Morgan, Sanpete, Utah, and Wasatch will be benefitted the efforts being made by tge US federal relief team assist with supplying the needs of the four counties.


FEMA will be headed by Mr. Jon K. Huss, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) director who will demestablish efforts that will respond to Utah's funding requirements on a cost-share basis


Biden's administration stated that Utah officials may request further aid should the need for more be assessed by FEMA officials..
