US Fallen Soldier’s Name Assigned to US Combat Vehicle: M10 Booker Will Be Among Equipment Deployed During Combat

NATION: There have been specific comments made by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III about individual US soldiers in the recent sources. In Particular, there had been mention of the combat vehicle named for Staff Sgt. Stevon Booker made during yesterday's Memorial Day ceremony. By Michelle Crawford-Sapenter


The announcement made by Secretary Lloyd Austin, yesterday included comments in regard to one of the United States most fierce soldiers, Staff Sgt,. Stevon Booker. For his dedication to defending the United States, Staff Sgt Booker was awarded the coveted honor of having his name placed upon one of the US combat vehicles.


Booker was the fallen soldier awarded with American leadership.  During his battles in the Saudi Arabian coast, it was booker who, after running out of artillery, used his own weapon to defend against the onslaught of enemy firepower.


Booker, Austin stated, understood the significance of American leadership and committed his life to guiding a group of soldiers through a war zone while traveling to Baghdad.  


More than acknowledging the conditions that would be met and the stamina necessary to continue with the defense of his nation, Stevon Booker was, also, of the challenges that faced the US and its allies when faced with a fierce and unrelenting enemy.


Booker's name was assigned to the combat vehicle upon which he rode and died the M10 Booker will now be one among the combat vehicles used by the United States Army in training and in battles where ever the US Army may go.


US Defense Secretary Austin, also, reflected on the concerns of the Biden administration through which the PACT Act has been established to provide for injured veterans, their families and for those whose loved ones were killed in combat. Austin commented that President Biden has made it possible for veterans and families to be afforded $797 billion in health care benefits.
