Santos Receives Ultimate Confirmation of His Ousting From Congress


NATION: On Friday in Congress , the end result for George Santos was just that—the end to the 12 month reign of the  35 year old former Congressman.  Today, Santos was voted out of Congress by a vote of 311-114.

Congress has labored long over the prospect of ousting tge junior New York State representative, George Santos. Today the votes conducted inthe House  confirmed the impression taken by a majority of Santos’ former colleagues. 


Given the comments made on the House floor on yesterday and tge results of today's vote, the  overwhelming impressions that may now be taken by the public is that George Santos was never a colleague of the standard US Congressman, according to Congressmen(),() and others.


Santos was brought under the scrutiny of the House following a number of events including the theft of money from his most recent campaign —a misstep that seemed to rein in as characteristic of Santos reputation.


According to reports made on his background, Santos was charged  with check theft—a form of theft in Brazil  that is punishable by imprisonment.  Santos plead guilty to tge offense and was exonerated by Congress.  


A number of allegations were stated by members of Congress to form the basis of Santos’ expulsion.


Santos made no public mention of his next career choice following his leave from Congress.
