President Biden's Canceled Travel To War Torn Regions of Israel- Jordan Summit Called Off Last Week

US & GLOBAL: In a matter of a sudden reversal associated with conduitions that have erupted in Gaza, the Summit planned to be attended by President Joe Biden has been canceled. Biden cancelled his plans for traveling to Jordan following the news of a hospital bombing that killed 300. While, Biden maintained scheduled travels to other regions of the Middle East the meetings surrounding humanitarian aid discussion did not slow the progress for the delivery by 200 trucks carrying goods and supplies. By Anne M. Erbynstein Involving last week's plans to meet with Arab leaders including the Egyptian and Palestinian among those who would join the discussion, matters involving the situation in the Gaza, did not intercept the President's plans for meeting with King Abdullah of Egypt and Palestine's Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, whioch proceeded in Washington short of the President's visit to Israel. As war violence continues in the Gaza and Israel regions, the prospect for discussion to be held that encompasses the plan to end the war are, now, uppermost in the revised plan. The former schedule involving Biden , Egypt and Palestinian leaders would have opened up to discussions surrounding the region's need for an increase in aid and the efforts being made to ensure that Palesyinians were, also, being provided aid. Those discussion have remained on hold. "[T]his aggression..." is "...pushing the region to the brink." --Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Foreign Minister stated last week The decision made to cancel the Jordan visit was one of agreement between each of the leaders. A change in plans were imposed following an immense bombing that overwhelmed the hospital in the strip. The bombing, caused by an air raid in the Gaza has been denied by Israel--the government, now, states that a misfired rocket launched by the Palestinian Jihad caused the bombing.

President Biden spoke with Israel President Netanyahu on Wednesday stating his full support to Israel as the two engaged in talsk in regard to rebuilding the Gaza. While Biden ensured that the lines of communication will remain open between the US and Israel, President Biden indicated that the need for the return of American hostages is among the administration's upper most concerns alongside the need for post-war peace.
