Ukraine's Receipt of Funding and Munitions Renders Sighs of Relief and Grief As the War Against Russia Rages Alongside the Hope for Peace

US & GLOBAL: Today, following the approval of the US military aid package to Ukraine and Israel, the vast equipment and weapons gifts of the caliber that may sustain both Ukraine and Israel for some time to come. Included in the package are weapons that the US government is certain will supply the countries in battle for enduring the onslaught of the opposition. By Anne M. Erbynstein While the weapons package contains no less than 21 separate forms of armaments, such that will resist the attacks by the opposition and provide effective safety nets for disarming air and land attacks, it appears the US has maxed its efforts at ensuring that Ukraine and Israel are fully equipped to resist each of their adversaries. In the Ukraine package are weapons that are among the most sophisticated in the world. The weapons include Claymore mines, logistics support vehicles, Javelin man-portable anti-tank systems, Airfield support equipment, demolition equipment for obstacle clearing, RIM 7 Sea sparrow missiles, TOW Wire Guide missiles, MRAPs, Night Vision Devices, Stinger antiaircraft devices, 60mm mortar rounds, AIM9 sidewinder missiles, Small 50 caliber rounds, Anti-Armor mines, Precision Aerial munitions, High mobility rocket munitions, 105 mm Artillery rounds, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, HMMWV;s ( HUMVEES), AT4 anti-tank weapons and 155 Artillery rounds. The President's signature of the package signified the immediate delivery to Ukraine of the arsenal of weapons --the same logistics plan is slated for Israel.

The new 61 billion dollar package deal that was signed into law by President Biden on Tuesday, was, also, a matter of celebration at the Capitol on Wednesday--the 3 tier approval marks the end of a long fought battle between Biden and officials who met during negotiations in the Oval Office and House Speaker Mike Johnson and the US Congress. According to comments made in regard to the reaction by some Ukraine officials following the news of the US approval for providing military aid, the news arrived with an equally balanced sigh of relief and groaning--most hoping the lack of munitions aid would result in an end to war violence. Today, in Ukraine, it is believed that the new military aid package that includes funds will only extend the war while most including the Ukraine military , only want peace.

As for now, the Ukraine government and its people can look down the road to May and possibly beyond as Russia carries forth plans for taking, yet, more territories in Ukraine.
