Iran President Raisi Faults Israel in Deaths of 5 Syrian Revolutionary Guard Officials


US & GLOBAL: On Saturday, Israel received the report of the assassination of one of Syria's top officials in the Syrian Revolutionary Guard. According to the report, Syria has cited Israel as being responsible for the deaths of 5 Syrian security personnel..

Iran President Ebrahim Raisi faulted Israel for the desths of 5 RGS council members stating their violence against the top Syrian Revolutionary Guard officials is a most "...cowardly assassination of five of Iran's most distinguished advisors."


In a plan that would aid in resolving matters associated with the October7 violent invasion by Hamas-Palestinian forces, Israel has determined the need to conduct measures of retaliation involving direct aerial and ground strikes against Hamas and supporting nations.


Last week, Israel launched strikes in Syria, blasting a building that housed the Syrian Rebutionary Gusrd. The building's destruction is only one in a line of attacks that may be launched by Israel in the weeks ahead.


In Syria, government officials have identified those who were trapped inside the building during the blast. In the after hours if tge devastating explosion, Dyria reported no survivors.


President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, commented in regard to tge violent attack by Israeli forces stating that the actions taken by Israel have gone unchanged over the years of violent attacks by Israel agsins Iran and partners. Raisi stated that the most recent and deadly attack by Israel "...will not remain unanswered."


Israel leaders have not reacted publicly to the allegations lodged by Syria and Iran President Raisi.
