Biden Approves of Providing Support To Ecuador Via Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity

POLITICS On Tuesday, President Joe Biden receives the readout on the results of the trip to Ecuador taken by White House Special Advisor for the Americas Christopher Dodd and Commander of the United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) General Laura Richardson. Biden's Special Advisery joined together in discussion with

President of Ecuador Daniel Noboa.

In Ecuador, White House Special Advisory team met with Ecuador's President as the group took steps to discuss matters associated with ethics the recent violence wruotingbin Evuador.


Along with President Noboa, Biden 's Advisers delivered the President's message of Hope stating the tge US is committed to standing by Ecuador ensuring their support through Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity.


Strategic efforts include tge focus being turned to deepening the "...democratic values and the rule of law, and ways to deepen bilateral cooperation, including with respect to security, counter drug cooperation, migration, and economic development."


The U.S. will ship military equipment and other supplies to Ecuador in support of the efforts by Ecuadorian military to engage in the defense of the nation. The US provides 20,000 bulletproof vests , 1 million dollars worth in "...critical security and emergency response equipment, including ambulances and defense logistic support vehicles."


The Biden administration , also, assigns FBI agents to back Ecuadorian National Police and Attorney General’s Office. US Homrland Security will provide assistance through training by personnel skilled in law enforcement and will send attorneys to Ecuador to perform prosecutions as necessary.


Officers sent to Ecuador by USHS will perform significant tasks in areas of digital gorendics and other analysis criticsl to identifying gangs, drug traffickers while, also, providing essential training and technical assistance that will assist with the protection of executive officials.


With USSAID , also, providing support for economic security programs , the U.S. and Ecuador have devised a plan to ensure the economic stability and security of the region.


Established by President Biden in 2023, the APEP will provide economic opportunities to Ecuadorian residents.
